# Keyboard shortcuts

> Using shortcuts will make you work faster and more productive

There are multiple keyboard shortcuts you can use in Watermelon for working faster and more productive. Shortcuts differ per device, please see an overview of the most used shortcuts below.

## Mac shortcuts: 

* Use `CMD` + `Enter`  to **send a message** in a chat conversation
* Use`CMD` + `B` to make selected text **bold**, or to make the text bold which is typed after using the shortcut.
* Use `CMD` + `I`  to make selected text **cursive**, or to make the text cursive which is typed after using the shortcut.
* Use`CMD` + `C` to copy text.
* Use `CMD` + `X` to cut text.
* Use`CMD` + `V`  to paste text.

**Browser specific shortcuts:**

* Use `CMD` + `R` to reload the page
* Use `CMD` + `SHIFT` + `R`  to  Reload page + delete browser history
* Use `CMD` + `F` to search on a page

## Windows shortcuts:

* Press `CTR` + `Enter` to send a message
