Watermelon uses a credit-based pricing model, allowing you to choose the credit tier that fits your usage. As long as you have sufficient credits, high conversation volumes are not considered a fair use issue. Our fair use policy is designed to prevent unusually intensive activity that could affect the platform’s performance or availability for other customers. If your usage puts significant strain on our infrastructure, we’ll contact you to discuss a suitable solution.

Examples of extensive usage

These are situations where we may contact you:
  • Large amounts of file data or repeated bulk updates Extremely large document libraries or frequent bulk uploads that require unusually high processing capacity.
  • Heavy website crawling activity Continuous crawling of large websites or frequent full-site synchronizations that place significant strain on our infrastructure.
  • Unusually intensive action or automation activity Automated workflows or API requests that generate exceptionally high system loads beyond normal platform usage.
  • Sharing an account outside your organization A Watermelon subscription is intended for use within a single organization. Unauthorized external account sharing is not permitted and may result in account restrictions.
  • Excessive AI Agent and workspace resource usage Maintaining unusually large numbers of AI Agents or users, especially with extensive knowledge bases or frequent crawling, where the required processing and storage resources are disproportionate to actual platform usage.

What happens if your usage is unusually high?

Occasional spikes in activity are completely normal and are not a concern. If we notice sustained activity that affects platform performance, we’ll reach out to discuss possible adjustments or a custom setup that better fits your needs.
