Sub-processors Watermelon
In order to offer our service properly, we collaborate with a number of partners. We save and store personal data with a majority of these partners. With regard for the General Data Protection Regulation, these partners are processors or sub-processors. We have signed a data processing agreement with our partners, or we’ve agreed to the terms under which this data is processed, in order to ensure that personal data is processed in a correct and appropriate manner. Your privacy and your customer’s privacy is central to everything that we do in our provision of service.
Some partner mights process their data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), if this is the case you have the option to opt out of the feature so no data is stored outside the EEA. The Watermelon servers are located in Belgium.
Google Cloud Platform
We use the Google Cloud Platform to host the entire Watermelon architecture. Where possible, we use servers based in the Netherlands or within the EER.

OpenAI
We use OpenAI to process the AI responses in Watermelon Pulse. This only applies if you use Pulse. OpenAI commits to the GDPR as stated in the Data Processing Agreement signed by both of us. Watermelon only shares small fractions of the data that you enter into Watermelon with OpenAI. In addition, OpenAI does not use the data for training the AI model and all sent data is removed from their servers within 30 days. The data we send to OpenAI is used exclusively for conducting the conversation with Watermelon.

360dialog
We use 360dialog to handle the WhatsApp messages through their API. This is only applicable if you use WhatsApp and 360dialog.

Pusher
We use Pusher to make sure the messages between the Watermelon platform and customers on the social channels and our website widget are being send and delivered.

Slack
We use Slack for internal communications, we never share personal details in Slack. Might it occur we have signed a data processing agreement with Slack.

Hubspot
We use Hubspot for maintaining our customer base and analyzing feedback. Our data is being stored in the EU and there is an exisiting data processing agreement.

Stripe
We use Stripe to handle all our billing, subscription management, invoices and payments. They need personal data to ensure this is being done safely.

Appcues
We use Appcues for gathering feedback from our customers, we also provide easy ways to inform our customers with Appcues.

Google Suite
We use Google Suite for our internal email, file storage and calendars. We save personal details including first and last name and email for calendar invitations. Personal information collected via email may appear in these tools, thus we have accepted a data processing agreement with Google Suite.

We use Mandrill to send emails from the Watermelon platform.

We use Pinecone to quickly search and retrieve large quantities of vectors and data.
